Reuse
Hervé-Jones Designs retains all rights to use the preliminary and completed designs for the purpose of display or for other clients, upon request.
If you do not wish photographs/personal information from your wedding invitations be used for promotional purposes on social media, you can request this when signing the GDPR data protection form. Mock information will be used instead on the design before promoting them to other clients. Promotion of your design will only take place after your invitations have been sent out to guests.
Proofing
When Hervé-Jones Designs have received your deposit, wedding details and agreement, your proof wedding invitation will be made.
The proof wedding invite will be sent via email to yourself. This will be your opportunity to look over colours, fonts, style, wording and any wedding details that you may wish to change. Doing this by email will be a quick way of us working closely to come to a final design.
Once you feel happy with the wedding invite design a proof invitation will be sent via post as colours can be different from screen to paper. The last proof will be exactly how your wedding invitations will look, this is also your time to do your final inspection of the invitations as no further changes can be made thereafter. It is your responsibility to check that all spellings, grammar, information and layout are correct. I will then need written consent by email that you have checked and are happy with the design. This consent will mean you are liable for any additional changes including, written mistakes and design errors. Any additional cost of which will be discussed dependent upon what changes you require making.
Payment
Once a quote has been sent after our consultation and you are happy to proceed I will need a 50% non refundable deposit before I start to design your invitations. I will then ask for the remaining balance once your invitations have been made before sending them to you. Payment can be made by cash or BACs payment. Bank details will be on the quote.
Reprints
If, in the event a product is not up to standard ie. doesn’t resemble the proof invitation sent. Please get in contact with Hervé-Jones Designs with photographic proof of the issue. This will be looked into, to consider whether the problem is eligible for a reprint with no additional costs.
